29.03.2019 Moscow,\u00a0RUSSIA. Gomel, BELARUS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The \u00abDetsky Mir\u00bb Group of Companies (MOEX: DSKY) \u2013 Russia\u2019s largest retailer of children\u2019s goods, announces the opening of its third store in Belarus.<\/p>\n

The third store of the retail network \u00abDetmir\u00bb which area is\u00a01164 sq. m<\/strong>\u00a0opened in Minsk in the \u201cEXPOBEL\u201d shopping center at the intersection of the Logoisk road and the Minsk ring road, Borovaya 5, MKAD<\/p>\n

The network \u00abDetmir\u00bb in Belarus offers a wide range of products for children from 0 to 12 years old: clothes and shoes, products and food for newborns, toys for boys and girls, products for children and adolescents \u2013 more than 30 thousand items in total<\/strong>. Along with global manufacturers, Belarusian goods are presented on the shelves of the \u201cDetmir\u201d store. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The \u201cDetsky Mir\u201d company has been effectively cooperating with Belarusian manufacturers since 2013. Belarusian toys, goods for sport and recreation, large-sized goods and clothing, in particular, school uniforms and hosiery, are in great demand. At the end of 2018, the volume of Belarusian goods sold in the \u201cDetsky Mir\u201d retail chain in Russia amounted to more than 400 million <\/strong>Russian rubles.<\/p>\n

In Belarus, the share of Belarusian products in the \u201cBaby Food\u201d category is about\u00a035%.\u00a0<\/strong>The company plans to increase the share of Belarusian goods on the shelves of stores, setting a goal to achieve the maximum possible in each product category.<\/p>\n

In the Republic of Belarus \u201cDetmir\u201d conducts active charity activities, that are aimed at helping children in difficult life situations. The wards of the Company are the State Institution \u201cRepublican Children\u2019s Hospital of Medical Rehabilitation\u201d \u2013 \u201cDetmir\u201d opens here 3 game rooms\u0431 as well as Orphanage \u21163 \u201cPearl\u201d and Children\u2019s House \u21161 for children with organic lesions of the central nervous system and psyche, as well as International public organization \u201cSOS- children\u2019s villages\u201d (Belarus).<\/p>\n

In the framework of the charity event \u201cUchavstvyite!\u201d collection of necessary things for pupils of thee social institutions was organized in the \u201cDetmir\u201d stores. Anyone can buy the necessary goods for children and leave it in a special arena, located at the store\u2019s checkout. The goal of the action is to improve the quality of life of children in social institutions of Belarus.<\/p>\n

On March 30, employees of Detmir stores will take part in a charitable work for the first time. The event will be held in GUO \u201cOrphanage \u21163 of Minsk \u201cZhemchuzhinka\u201d, where employees of the \u2018Detmir\u201d stores located in the \u201cEuroopt\u201d and \u201cCoolman\u201d shopping centers, together with the children, will improve the territory. The tradition of holding large-scale volunteer work days int the Group of Companies \u201cDetsky Mir\u201d has existed for more than 5 years. During this time, the Company has helped to equip the territory of hundreds of children\u2019s homes in dozens of cities in Russia and Kazakhstan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
